Camp Doodles has voluntarily submitted to this independent appraisal done by camp experts and has earned this mark of distinction. A camp day is designed to provide a balance between structure in the morning and choice in the afternoon. This format allows children to think outside their box in group time, try an array of new acitivities, and gives them the option to choose their favorite activities in the afternoon!

Have you ever thought about what kids do all day at a quality summer camp program? There is no TV., no Xbox, and no internet! Why do kids go to camp? Just what happens at camp? Did you know that many of our campers complain that after camp ends they are so bored – "There is nothing to do!" But why do campers choose Camp Doodles over all the other Marin County summer camps?

They know that our camp program offers their children a better alternative to free play all day long. As we all know too well, too much free play does not adequately stimulate your child and can get boring quickly! We offer the best of all worlds.

Part of our day is programmed with great activities, part is supervised free-play, and part is "choice time" where your children have a variety of sports, crafts, skit-making, science, dance and other options to choose from. This allows our children to experience new projects and activities in an accepting environment, have the chance to socialize with friends, and lets them have control over part of the day's schedule. What more can you (or they) ask for?
