Join us on a journey of creativity. Let your imagination run wild! Create one-of-a-kind works of art. Camp Doodles offers a variety of projects for your child's creative curiosity. Talented art instructors help guide campers in completion of quality projects and self-discovery through arts & crafts. Our art room is filled with drawers of all sorts of neat and creative things! Stuff like pastels, beads, pens, magnets, string, stickers, sequins, crayons, pencils, velcro, and the list goes oooooooooonnnn! When children have free time in the Art room they can create whatever they want with all the cool supplies at hand! In the group time all children also have a daily opportunity to make a cool project that their counselor will help them with! What will you make?
There is no "right way" to do an art project and we encourage children to experiment and take risks with their projects. One of the many ways we enable children to truly express themselves is through our "green drawer" system. Our art room counters are covered with over 100 drawers, each one filled with some type of craft material. In one there might be feathers and in another there might be "Model Magic" instant clay. As we all know, "green means go" and campers are encouraged to delve into any supplies in order to put their unique signature on each masterpiece. |
