There are so many fun activities to choose from each day...the mornings typically start out with the children organized in small groups led by a camp counselor. The group spends the morning together playing active and quiet/name games, creating arts & crafts projects and having snack together. Groups often pair up to do activities together. The morning ends at lunch-time where the camp counselors and campers all eat together before heading out to supervised free play time on the various play structures and field. Indoor activities are usually available as well.
By the early afternoon, all campers feel right at home having already met many new friends and knowing at least a few camp counselors too. After lunch the students are introduced to our "Choice Time" activities led by our staff and occasionally by visiting instructors too. The students choose, with guidance as needed, what activities are the most interesting to them. Perhaps tie-dye? Indoor hockey? Karoaoke? Nature hike? Cool craft project? Cook something tasty? Each afternoon there are lots of choices to choose from.
The campers all have set things to look forward to each summer day. Tuesdays are Ice Cream Days and Dress Up Days, Wednesdays are Cooking / Field Trip (oldest campers) Days, Thursdays are Water/Swim Days, Fridays are Field Trip (older campers), Award Ceremonies, Talent Times and more.
