MONDAY:
Techno Ball:
2nd - 6th graders have the opportunity to learn and play the Camp Doodles "underground game", Techno Ball. Our multi-purpose room is decked out with a DJ light system and...we can't tell you more!
Nature Hike:
Come join us for a walk along Richardson Bay where we will admire our beautiful community while gazing out over the bay to San Francisco.
TUESDAY: "Happy Birthday Doodles"
BDAY CELEBRATION WITH CAKE (no ice cream day today)
Anyone who has a summer birthday is welcome to come and celebrate with our staff, many of whom have summer birthdays. If you don't have a summer birthday, consider yourself invited to the party! If you've got a sweet tooth, you can look forward to sampling our delicious cakes!
Dress Up Day: GOOF-BALL
Today you can wear anything you want...find the funkiest clothes, rainbow suspenders...a bow-tie...wear (clean!) underwear on your head, socks on your hands...whatever...just have fun and be a bit crazy. Wear your brightest most awful clothes. Wear something your parents would wear (just kidding mom!).
Musical Chairs
WEDNESDAY:
FIELD TRIP: (4th-6th Grades). Click here for details.
Low Sugar Cooking Project
:
Bring your appetite and get ready to help cook something tasty and fun. Taught by our self-proclaimed “Iron Chefs”, this is an activity you won’t want to miss! Given that we will be eating cake for party week, we're planning to make something with low sugar for cooking this week.
BINGO for Prizes
:
No signing "Bingo was his name-o" - pull out the prize drawers, grab a bingo card and lets get ready for some fun!
Camper Catch Counselor:
Camper Catch Counselor is an activity similar to hide and seek. The counselors hide on campus and the children try to find them.
Karaoke Party:
It doesn’t matter if you sound like Hannah Montana or not, because Karaoke is a time for people to come together and have fun singing the songs they know. If you have a song you particularly like, feel free to bring a copy of the CD to camp in case we don’t have that particular one (just remember to take it at the end of the day). Our karaoke machine is hooked up to a screen so you can read the words as you sign along. Very cool! Very fun!
THURSDAY:
Party Pinatas:
Filled with small prizes, get ready to whack a pinata!
Wacky Water Day: (Marin only)
APPROXIMATE TIME: 1:30pm - 3:00
Wacky Water Day is finally here!
Water Day is a day to look forward to! Water Days are filled with fun activities ranging from massive water slides to water balloon tosses and games like "splish splish splash" to just running around and being silly in the sprinkler.
Alternate activities will be available for children who do not want to participate or if Mother Nature did not receive our memo regarding water day. However, we recommend that all children bring the items listed below as the fun is often contagious!
TO BRING: A swimsuit (under clothes is preferable), towel and wear sunscreen.
OPTIONAL: Water shoes, a change of clothes.
FRIDAY:
FIELD TRIP: 2nd-6th Grade. Click here for details.
CIT / StAFF LIPSYNC
New to Summer 2010, the Counselors-In-Training and Junior Counselors (and perhaps some paid staff) will perform a lipsync during morning assembly...a great way to start the day.
Dress Up Day:
"favorite sports team"
(wear your team jersey or hat, paint a basketball on your cheek - whatever work!)
AWARDS CEREMONY:
Every Friday afternoon, just before checkout is our Awards Ceremony. Our staff give out numerous awards to their campers ranging from "Good Listener" to "Great Camp Attitude" and "Sunscreen Award" to "Spirit Award". This is an event that the campers won't want to miss! oss
