REFUND POLICY

 

Most of our staff is hired and supplies are ordered and paid for by May. When a family cancels, it costs the camp money for pre-ordered supplies and pre-hired staff members. We too have given our committment to our staff members and want to honor our original committment to them.

 

With this in mind, we have worked hard to create a balanced refund policy that takes both the needs of our families, and the needs of the camp, into consideration.

 

CAMP DOODLES REFUND POLICY:

It is camp policy that no tuition refunds will be made in connection with late cancellations, late arrivals, early withdrawals, or camp dismissals due to misconduct. There will be no reduction or refund of fees for the discontinuation of the camp season due to illness, injury, acts of God, natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, fire, pandemics or epidemics.

 

* 100% refund until March 15th.

* 75% refund until April 29th.

* 50% refund until May 30th.

* No refunds on or after June 1st.

* Drop-In Day refunds must be requested by August 15 to receive 100% credit or 50% cash back. 

* $20 processing fee for all schedule changes.

* Missed days of camp are not refunded or transferred (e.g. missed Friday and want to come back next week for a day)

 

DOODLE DAY - DROP IN DAYS:
These "Use Anytime Doodle Days" days provide parents with the flexibility to bring their child to camp, without prior notice. In addition to this, "Doodle Days" days allow parents more flexibility with refunds. "Use Anytime Doodle Day " holders should keep track of the days used at camp and, if there are days left over by the end of the summer, compete a "Refund Request Form". Requests must be received no later than the last day of camp and a 50% check or 100% credit can be requested.

 

No Drop In Day Refund Requests will be accepted after August 15.

Processed refunds will be mailed by September 15.

 

ONLY PAID THE DEPOSIT - NOW WHAT?
Families who have only paid a partial amount of tuition (e.g. deposit only) are expected to pay the difference needed to supplement their cancellation. We have been in the unfortunate position to have to send non-paying individuals to a firm we use for collections. We assume that our families will honor their original registration commitment.
