We recognize the importance of raising global citizens and are making a concerted effort to embrace all types of diversity in our community.  This summer, founers David & Jeremy Hughes made the decision to offer a staggering $10,000.00 in camperships. Even with this amount, we still have families who are turned down. Would you like to help support our scholarship fund? (just write "Camp Doodles" in the camp name field)

We do our best to accomodate as many of these requests as possible, but space and resources are limited, so we can cannot guarantee scholarships to all applicants. To assist us in this process, we ask that you complete the scholarship application (below) and questionnaire. We happily offer a limited number of camperships each summer to families who demonstrate financial need. Typically a minimum of 3-weeks of attendance is required and priority is given to campers from returning families.

Every parent deserves to feel comfortable each day knowing your child is in a safe, fun environment (it’s just not worth it leaving them somewhere you might worry or where they might not have as much fun!).

IMPORTANT NEWS- OUR NEW SCHOLARSHIP STRATEGY:

We recognize that there are many families who would greatly benefit from a scholarship. We also have experienced that many people do not like asking for one, even if they really need it. With this in mind, we have chosen to create early-registration discounts so that families who need a break on tuition can receive it by registering early...and they don't need to ask us, to fill out scholarship forms, etc. To take advantage of this massive discount, register early!

OUR TYPICAL CAMPERSHIP SETUP IS AS FOLLOWS:

FIRST TIME CAMPERS:
20% off all registration fees and free hot lunch and drinks daily (Valued at $30 per week) upon receipt of a copy of your tax returns from this year and the last two years. Minimum registration is 3 weeks. If you need a larger scholarship, you might consider contact organizations such as the Marin Child Care Council.

RETURNING CAMPERS:
30% off all registration fees and free hot lunch and drinks daily (Valued at $30 per week) upon receipt of a copy of your tax returns from this year and the last two years. Minimum registration is 3 weeks.

Please let us know if this is something that would work with your current situation. While all scholarships are ‘out of pocket’ expenses for us, we feel it is very important to support our community. The camp is owned and operated by two brothers...who were both raised by a single mother and, as you can imagine, have a soft spot for families who may be experiencing similar situations.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A CAMPERSHIP:
To request a campership, please complete the following four steps:
1. Fill out our scholarship application form.

2. Fill out and sign a copy of IRS Form 4506. Please disregard the request on the form for a check payable to the IRS.

3. Fill out a copy of our registration form
