What Constitutes A Significant Injury?

Any injuries that are outside of the comfort scope of our camp staff (possible broken bones, skin discoloration, temperatures over 100 degrees, difficulty breathing, unusual swelling or rashes, etc.) will result in a phone call to a guardian and quite often a call to emergency services, 9-1-1.

As a precaution, a staff member may contact a parent and/or 9-1-1 in the event the child has an insect sting or bite or appears to be experiencing an allergic reaction.  .

If ever in doubt, err on the side of caution

We strongly believe that it is better "to be safe than sorry" and apologize if your child is sent to the hospital (for a situation which our staff felt uncomfortable with) for a 'false alarm'.
